Dead Sea Apes - Soy Dios

Posted by Captain Beyond Zen on Saturday, March 26, 2011

Dead Sea Apes are a three-piece instrumental group based in Manchester. Since mid-2009 they have been developing a hard-hitting, dynamic blend of desert rock, drone, garage rock, krautrock, post-rock, western soundtracks and psychedelia.

Their debut single Soy Dios was released in December 2010, a nine-minute instrumental taking its inspiration from the Mexican psycho-Western film El Topo and backed by two equally epic remixes. More tracks are currently in the works for an EP to be released in March 2011.

As well as working as an instrumental trio, Dead Sea Apes regularly collaborate with other musicians. Recent guests have included Canadian singer-songwriter Gabriel Minnikin and Stray Light’s Ellen Poliakoff.  In December 2010 they performed a one-off gig with legendary Can vocalist Damo Suzuki.

Dead Sea Apes are currently arranging more gigs for 2011. For up-to-date information, music and photos see their blog at http://www.deadseaapes.com.

One of the world's most astonishing aspects when it comes to science is the dead sea jordan As the title already helps us understand the Dead Sea is stretched out on the lowest point that can be found on the Earth's surface without any digging.
