Headliner for STONED HAND OF DOOM 2012: ORANGE GOBLIN from London! A Eulogy for the Damned is the new record: their seventh album. Seven, as the capital sins and the SHOD editions. 15 years have passed since the debut Frequencies from Planet Ten. Inspired by the gods of hard rock, heavy metal, punk rock and underground extremity, from Black Sabbath, Motörhead, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Thin Lizzy through to Celtic Frost and Black Flag, Orange Goblin are an ass-shakin’ mix of vintage and modern heavy music. A lean, mean hard rockin’ machine… The eight-legged tag team of frontman Ben Ward, bassist Martyn Millard, guitarist Joe Hoare and drummer Chris Turner have reached a new peak of creativity and one-two-fuck-you intensity on A Eulogy for the Damned. The new album deftly encapsulates everything that is exhilarating and admirable about this most dedicated and humble of British metal wrecking crews and that deserves to propel Orange Goblin to the front of the British metal queue. They’re back and the party is starting all over again. Whose round is it?

An obscure, dark and heavy mammoth, DOOMRAISER is a fluid and oblique groovy machine. Mountains of Madness is their third opus, a mix of fat riffs, massive drumming, powerful bass lines and killing vocals. An unholy invocation of gritty, sprawling psycho doom.
From dark and pale seashores comes L’IMPERO DELLE OMBRE, a black ensemble mixing 70’s and early 80’s dark sound, with rich, vintage keyboard-driven songs, intricate melodies and a fair amount of heavy & prog guitars. Their cemetery rock is the ideal soundtrack of any gothic horror movie. I compagni di Baal is a trip though 30 years of Italian metal & dark sound.

From Bergamo the drug rockers EL-THULE offer their cool stoned Seventies rock'n'roll mixed with punk, rough desert sound and hypnotic tradition. Zenit is their 3rd album, a concept based on the ancient legends that gave name to the stars and about the re-discovery of the union between world - human - life.
Stoner, stoner and stoner again with GANDHI’S GUNN. Considered a point of reference on the Italian scene after their full-length debut Thirtyeahs, the band from Genoa has a hard, strong impact inspired by the forcible sound of the first American heavy psych undercurrent, such as Corrosion of Conformity, Fu Manchu and Clutch, while frequently exploring more visionary and acid territories.

Heavy progressive doom from Florence, FUNERAL MARMOORI recorded their first album Vol. 1 released by BloodRock Records. Their obscure and gloomy sound is like Lorenzo Lamas riding an evil machinery in the garden of doom!

From Sardinia, BLACK CAPRICORN is a beast formed in 2008 as a power trio. With M. Toro, emperor Claudio, and the final add of the killer solos of Lord Fex, the codex was written. The result is a bunch of witches and damned prophets, disciples of the apocalypse playing heavy & satanicus stoner doom.

CARONTE from Parma offers an acid ethereal doom, their lyrics are focused on esoteric themes and occultism, and profoundly inspired by the works of Aleister Crowley. Say Amen!

From Rome, the new sensation of the Eternal City music scene: THE WISDOOM. A stoner doom four-pieces killing elite, strongly influenced by noise and psychedelic rock. In the criminal werewolf we trust!
