"I hear sirens calling me" and these sirens are called ORCHID from San Francisco. What could you expect from a band which names BLACK SABBATH, PENTAGRAM, LED ZEPPELIN, DEEP PURPLE, KYUSS, CREAM, HAWKWIND, THE STOOGES, BLUE CHEER, MOTORHEAD, RUSH, PINK FLOYD, THE MC5, THE ALICE COOPER BAND, IRON MAIDEN, MERCYFUL FATE, VENOM as its influences? You're right, if you expect all the best from the last 50 years of Rock and Metal. ORCHID did well to boil down the essences of its influences to the quintessence of these heroes. Theo Mindell (Vocals, Percussion), Mark Thomas Baker (Guitars, Moog), Nickel (Bass) and Carter Kennedy (Drums) created a four song masterpiece of pure magic and timeless beauty.
