DOMES OF SILENCE: New Single 'Temple Of The Wasp'

Posted by Captain Beyond Zen on Friday, November 27, 2009

Domes of Silence from Oxford have survived and they are back with the fantastic new single 'Temple of the Wasp' which will be released on iTunes on 3rd December. The sound is very stoner-like with fuzzy guitars and downtuned bass but Domes of Silence put a barrel of raw garage rock and a Stooges- reminiscence into their music. The title track is a catchy tune and you will be infected after the second listening experience. Then you'll sing along: "I get down on my knees, get down on the floor, everybody is screaming the same as before". They get down to the nitty-gritty. The second song 'Bad Wisdom' kicks ass and comes up with an incredible 70’s guitar sound and "uh"-screams in true Iggy Pop-style. Domes of Silence are pushed by passion and grief. Full marks for this. Good on ya!
